  • Acrylic Paint Pouring Art Class- Level II

    If you were in Beth's class last year-you are now ready to move on to this one! You will explore additional techniques and styles of creating fluid acrylic art. You will practice pouring tree rings, blowing flowers from puddle pours and swiping. Each piece will be original and unique – no two pours are ever the same. This class includes two complete paintings ready to hang on your wall (not including the frames). Wear clothes you can get paint on. All supplies included in the course fee. Previous acrylic paint pouring experience not required.
  • All Occasion Hand Stamped Cards

    Never be without a card for that special occasion! Create 25 hand-stamped and embellished cards. (5 cards of 5 different designs). ALL NEW CARD DESIGNS! All materials are precut and ready to stamp and assemble. You will receive embellishments and envelopes for your cards. Please bring adhesive (i.e double stick tape or tombow). Class includes materials, envelopes and use of instructor’s stamps, inks and tools.Your instructor has been creating greeting cards for over 20 years.   • Beginning Rug Hooking classes

    The art of hooking rugs is a time-honored craft that results in beautiful, heirloom-quality pieces that last for generations. Rug hooking involves using a hook to pull strips of wool fabric through a backing to create art for your floor, wall, table, or chair seat, just to name a few. In this class, you will learn basic rug hooking techniques and will be hooking a small mat.  Class supplies, provided, will include a small pattern, a Primitive Rug Hook, and cut wool. Students are asked to bring a small pair of scissors with to class.Joyce Weese instructorYour instructor has been rug hooking and doing various other needle arts for quite sometime.   • Chalk Couture Art

    Join Sunshine and Roses to learn how to use Chalk Couture stencils and Chalk Paste. You do not need prior art experience or skill for this class! It is very easy and you will love the end result!  Class fee includes chalk surface, chalk paste and use of the Chalk Couture stencils. Note: surfaces may vary and multiple designs will be offered.   • Handbuilding Flowers for Your Garden & Decorating

    Learn how to create layered three dimensional flowers for your garden and home. Instructor will go over the techniques to create one’s own flower. Students are encouraged to bring along pictures of their flowers of choice or attempt making up their own kind of flower. Finished Flowers look specifically like the heads of flowers and the under leaves can be added or not, but will not have stems. The Students will then have the choice to take their flowers home to attach to the walls or for table decoration, the Instructor will provide tips on how best to do this. The Instructor will attach the flowers meant for the garden to garden stakes. If time allows and depending on individual skills students may be able to make more than one flower. Underglazes will be able to be applied at the class and the Instructor will provide details on glazing options during class. Aprons will be provided, but clothes that can get clay on them and potential underglazes on them recommended.   • Paint a Portrait of Your Pet

    Artist Julie Fakler will teach you step by step how to paint a portrait of your pet. In class you’ll learn about under painting, form, shape and color. If you like, email the instructor (juliefakler@gmail.com) the pet photo that you want to work from and she will print it for you!  If you don’t have a pet, don’t worry (photos of pets will be available).   • Splatter Art

    Splatter painting is energetic, unpredictable and fun! If you’ve ever thought about trying ....here's your chance!  Your instructor will demonstrate various techniques including dripping, splashing, and pouring. Then it's your turn to make your own abstract piece! Get into a meditative state or be carefree and get out some emotion! Class fee includes supplies and include a glass of wine or non-alcoholic bubbly. Aprons will be provided, but please dress with the fact in mind that clothes could get paint on them.
