  • Art,Wine Design- Visual Illusions class- Landscapes

    This exciting class is enjoyed by all levels of students! You will expand your visual self-expression and go home with a wonderful painting.You will learn how to create good design using depth, as you create visual illusions with watercolor, and acrylics.Create texture that is both tactile and visual, an important element that will enhance their art. Whether you're a budding Picasso or haven't touched a paint brush in years, you'll have fun! Your instructor will guide you through the easy steps! No experience necessary.  All supplies (and a glass of wine) are included in the course fee) . Additional refreshments may be purchased from the OAC. Students must be 21 yrs or older to register. You will leave with a colorful completed piece of art! Please bring an apron and a roll of paper towels to class.     Gelli printing is the newest trend yet!It has taken the mixed media world by storm! Students are inspired by these exciting new techniques.The ready made silicone plates make it incredibly easy to create prints. You will learn quick stenciling and stamping techniques also.What a fun way to enjoy a day of art with friends.Dar's students love that there are no mistakes in her inspiring classes. Dar gives individual attention,and inspires the creative spark in her students.The class will learn how quickly they can print a multitude of prints and how to use them in many exciting ways! A little practice is all it takes to become a pro at printing with the colors of your choice. What instant gratification! Completed prints will be collaged onto 12 X 12 canvas. Everyone will enjoy taking home their completed piece of unique art that won' t need to be framed. Dar's teaching style is spontaneous and easy going. So come and expect to have a great time! No experience needed.Please bring to class , paper towels, a purse size Purell hand cleaner , words or sayings you like (can find in books or magazines) an apron, lunch and beverages.
