  • Acrylic Paint Pouring - Level 1

    Have you wanted to try acrylic paint pouring but were not sure where to start? Come and join us in the art! Create fluid organic designs through the use of acrylic paint and pouring medium. Each piece created will be unique and original. No two pours are ever the same! This class includes two complete paintings ready to hang on your wall (frames not included). We will work on flip cup and open cup techniques that are fun for every level. Wear clothes you can get paint on. All supplies are included in the class fee. No previous painting experience or drawing skills required.
  • Acrylic Paint Pouring - Level 2

    In this intermediate level paint pouring class you will explore additional techniques and styles of creating fluid acrylic art. You will practice ring pours, puddle pours, swiping and more! Each piece will be original and unique - no two pours are ever the same. This class includes two complete paintings ready to hang on your wall as soon as they dry (frames not included). Wear clothes you can get paint on. All supplies are included in the class fee. Previous acrylic paint pouring experience is encouraged but not required.
  • All Occasion Hand-Stamped Cards

    Join us in class where we will make 25 hand-stamped all occasion cards (5 cards of 5 designs). These designs may include birthday, thank-you, sympathy, or blank cards. Included will be all the materials you need to make 25 cards, plus envelopes. Tools will be provided, as well as stamps and ink for you to complete your cards. Students should bring their own adhesive of choice. The instructor will also have some available for purchase the night of class. Take-home kit option: Take-home kits are available, but you must register by noon on April 18. Pick-up is at Roosevelt School on April 24, between 8am-4pm.
  • Plant Design Workshop: Terrarium Bowl

    During this plant design workshop you will make your very own Terrarium Bowl with plants, river rock, and moss! This is a great option for an office plant or an easy-to-care-for house plant. Join plant professionals and owners of Kleckers Kreations and Cedar Floral for this class.
  • Pottery on the Wheel for Teens and Adults

    How do you throw clay on the wheel? Beginners will learn how to use the wheel to create three dimensional forms and vessels. Demonstrations will cover the basics of wedging, centering, pulling, trimming, and forming functional vessels. If you are accustomed to clay, come and fine tune your skills, learn a new technique, and challenge yourself with larger, more complex forms. Dress for a mess and wear tennis shoes. Bring your ideas, excitement, and inspiration to each class. One 25 lbs bag of clay is included. Any additional clay can be purchased from the Owatonna Arts Center.
