Let’s get creative with Printmaking! In this class you will create a 5x7 print, by learning how to carve your own stamp from a linoleum block. We will handprint them onto paper, experimenting and creating multiple editions. Come prepared with a simple reference, hand-drawn / digital, that you would like to work with or follow along with examples provided. Hopefully, by the end of the workshop, you’ll feel more confident and knowledgeable on the printmaking process. About your instructor: Andi is a local artist with a background in mixed media printmaking. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Printmaking / Drawing and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Minnesota State University. She enjoys inspiring everyone to find their creative voice by creating a low-pressure environment, full of fun artistic experimentation and play.

Andi will walk you through basic drawing techniques and tips. There is no pressure to create a masterpiece, we are simply enjoying time with friends, drinking a glass of wine, and learning how to start drawing from life step-by-step.
