Strength training is a great way to improve your metabolism, tone your body, and improve everyday movement! Whether you are looking to lose weight, learn the ins and outs of a weight room, build confidence and strength, or join a community of strong women, this is the class for you! Learn the basic principles and proper techniques of strength training and understand the importance of breath support for pelvic floor and core foundation, all in a safe, encouraging community of women. All fitness abilities from beginner to intermediate are welcome! Sign up early as this class is popular and our class size is limited.Please note: Class on November 4 will be held at the Owatonna Middle School Weight Room from 5-6pm.

The word "Mezze" refers to what we all know as finger foods and dips. Many Mediterranean meals consist of a variety of mezze items that come together to create the most satisfying flavors. Learn how to bring warmth, color, and the flavors of the Mediterranean to your gatherings with this cook-along/demonstration class. Chef Tess (a descendant of Spartans) will guide you through the creation of this stunning mezze-style charcuterie board, perfect for any time of the year! Cook-along portion: Whipped Feta & Tzatziki Dips, Greek Meatballs, Homemade Pita Bread Demonstration portion: Muhamarra (a smoky red pepper dip), Greek hummus, and time permitting, some crispy Greek sesame bread sticks. The demonstration will also include how to build the board while balancing the colors, textures, and flavors alongside finding the best decor and design. Foundations of Improv (Comedic Core)

Learn the basics of improvisational comedic acting at Little Fish Comedy's Foundations of Improve (Comedic Core) workshop. Our seven-week course will focus on the fundamentals of improv acting with an emphasis on Improv comedy. Through "hands-on" exercises and laughter, we will bring out the creative improv-er in you! The final session will be a chance for you to show off your new skills as you dazzle your family and friends with a course ending show that showcases the improv artist in you. This is not just a course in comedy; this is a course in life's social skills. You will gain confidence and have fun as you learn to think quickly, listen, react positively, participate in team building, take risks, and create and carry out ideas with lightening speed. Course is for those 16 years of age and older. Little Fish Comedy is a local improv troupe that has been doing improv since 2023. They have performed for corporations, schools, charities, and weddings. Their range takes them from Iowa to the Twin Cities. They also perform free shows at various local venues. Raw Vegan Plant-Based Cook Along!

Learn how to cook one of your favorite American meals into a surprising, healthy, vegan, low-fat alternative. Raw vegan food is consumed uncooked typically not exceeding 118 F. The idea is that cooking food destroys nutrients and enzymes, so eating it raw ensures maximum nutritional value. Typical foods in the diet are fresh fruits and veggies, nuts and seeds, sprouted grains and legumes, raw nut butters, seaweed, and raw 'dairy' alternatives. Burger night includes a yummy burger with fresh fixin's, kale chips, and banana-vanilla ice-cream smoothie. Curry night features cauliflower rice topped with vegetable curry sauce and layered coconut chia pudding. Participants will also receive a complementary 18-page e-cook-book.
