"Jumpin' into Easter" Cookie Decorating

Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies? In this 2-hour class, we'll cover the basics of sugar cookies (so - yes, it's beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you'll need is providing at class along with a live in-person instructor. Just bring a smile (and maybe an apron!). The theme is "hoppy" Easter - lots of bunnies gettin' into all sorts of mischief trying to find carrots while we decorate Easter eggs! You'll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques!

Perfect for beginners and cookie enthusiasts alike, this class includes all supplies, step-by-step instruction, and plenty of fun. No green thumb required—just a love for creativity and sweet treats! You'll be "dill-ighted" in this class where we will decorate 6 perfect cookies using 4-icing colors. You won't be-leaf how good you'll get at designing!

This beginner-friendly class will walk you through step-by-step techniques for piping royal icing and creating the perfect sugar cookie! Namaste in class for this 2-hour cookie decorating class! California Sushi Roll Extravaganza

When it comes to actual sushi that is made with sushi grade raw fish such as salmon or tuna wrapped in rice and seaweed, the sushi tolerance spectrum runs from a very strong “YES” or a very strong “NO” with little wiggle room in between. Enter California “sushi” Rolls that overwhelmingly turn the strong “NO’s” into strong yeses! Join Tess as she walks you through how to make a variety of the most marvelous California rolls that will make you wonder why you haven’t tried to make your own before. California “sushi” roll combinations are only limited by your imagination! Make them vegetarian, with or without seaweed, spicy or not, it is totally up to you! Learn the skill of creating delicious seasoned sushi rice, spicy mayo, and how to stuff, wrap/shape the rolls, with wonderful filling ingredients. One of these fillings is a “crab” salad that will be created using crab sticks. Tess will also provide a demonstration plate decorating ideas! Ingredients / supplies in case participants wish to order or shop early for some ingredients: Sushi rice, sushi nori /seaweed sheets, toasted sesame oil, (Japanese) rice vinegar. Additional ingredients will be listed in the information packet that will be received 3—5 days before the class. Bamboo sushi rolling mats can be helpful, but not necessary. Participants will receive a list of ingredients and a class link (zoom - free download) in advance of the class with enough time for shopping and prep. Dim Sum Shu Mai Drum Dumplings & Wontons

No need to look any further for restaurant quality Dim Sum than your own kitchen! Dim Sum, loosely translated to “touch the heart”, refers to a Chinese or Cantonese meal consisting of numerous small appetizers or finger foods traditionally enjoyed in restaurants. A dim sum meal therefore is considered a shared dining, social experience that can last for hours. Dim Sum meals often include some sort of dumpling, and two of the most popular dumpling options are open faced drum dumplings called “Shu Mai” and other dumplings called “Wontons”. Join Chef Tess for one of her newest classes where she will guide you in the step-by-step process of creating these delightful restaurant quality Dim Sum dumplings with two different meat and veggie fillings, and store bought wrappers. Learn to shape, fill and cook these tender, light, fluttery bites of deliciousness in your own home for a memorable dim sum get together. Serving, freezing and reheating tips will also be shared. Participants will receive a list of ingredients and a class link (zoom - free download) in advance of the class with enough time for shopping and prep. Focaccia, Stromboli, & Calzones!

What makes a Focaccia a Focaccia, a Stromboli a Stromboli, and a Calzone a Calzone? How are they different? How are they the same? Discover the answer to these questions as you participate in this fun-filled Cook-Along Class as we dive into the world of unique Rolled & Stuffed Pizzas, and marvelous focaccia bread! Learn how to make your own homemade Focaccia Bread, a wonderful rolled pizza called a Stromboli, and stuffed Pizzas, known as Calzones with homemade pizza dough! Experience the rave reviews from previous participants of the instructor’s pizza classes yourself as you learn how to make your own pizzas with her step-by-step instruction. Take out Pizza may just become a thing of the past! On the Menu: Stromboli (rolled / filled pizza), Calzones (stuffed pizza), wonderful Focaccia Bread, and an OUT- OF-THIS-WORLD Pizza Sauce. TWO different types of homemade dough will be used. One will be for the pizza options, the other for the focaccia. The instructor will provide Step-by-step guidance and instruction help to ensure the process is as simple as can be. Participants can personalize their pizzas with and focaccia bread with toppings and fillings of their choosing. Equipment Needs: A 9 X 13 non-stick baking pan or a larger sheet pan will be needed for the focaccia bread. Additional sheet pans will be needed for the Stromboli and Calzones. A stand mixer is highly recommended in order to be able to make the dough for both options during the class. Your instructor, Bethany, has studied nutrition since the 80’s, received her Bachelor’s in Food and Nutrition and now works as a mental health therapist and addictions counselor. Join Chef Tess for one of her newest classes as she guides you through the process of creating three exceptional confectionary creations: a Classic French Fruit Tart, a version of a Greek Phyllo Pastry Tart called “Bougatsa”, and...CAKESICLES, a sweet treat that is the latest craze of a cake-on-a-stick! Popular desserts any time of year! Equipment Needs: A Cakesicle Silicone Mold and Popsicle sticks will be needed to create the Cakesicles. Available at most craft stores, as well as online. Sticks are often included in the kit. A tart pan with a removable bottom of any shape will be needed for the French Fruit Tart.
