3D Printing: Jewelry Fabrication & Arts (Entering Grades 2-6)
Bring your creations to life in this 3D printing class. The ancient craft of jewelry making is brought to the modern world using TinkerCad and 3D printers. Students will learn to build 2D and 3D models on the computer using CAD software. They will design and print a pair of earrings, or a pendant in this class. If printing is not completed in class, prints will be mailed home. Please bring a lunch and a drink.

Work on a stop-motion animated Pokémon-themed film. Pick your favorite characters to star in your mini-movie. The possibilities are endless! Students will build Pokémon-inspired sets and props to create animated game and stop-motion short. Students will also participate in other Pokémon-related STEAM activities. Bring a USB drive. 3D Printing: Harry Potter (Entering Grades 2-6)
Learn 3D design and modeling skills using Tinkercad while creating a wand, then create your own magical pendant. Create fun designs to complete different magical CAD challenges. This course will introduce students to using CAD modeling & design software. They'll also do fun Hogwarts-inspired challenges in TinkerCAD's SimLab. Student-designed pendants will be printed and sent home at the end of class. Printing and material fees are included. If printing is not completed in class, prints will be mailed home. A Day at the Arboretum
Explore 1,200 acres of professionally maintained gardens, rare plant collections and accessible trails. In 2019 USA Today named the Arboretum the best botanical garden in North America! You will be on your own to explore and enjoy the Arboretum. There is a guided tram ride available if you choose to independently purchase a ticket for that upon arrival ($8). There is also an eatery on site that has sandwiches, salads, soups, and beverages. Price includes: Motorcoach transportation and entry fee. No refunds for day trips. Acrylic Paint Pouring - Level 1
Have you wanted to try acrylic paint pouring but were not sure where to start? Come and join us in the art! Create fluid organic designs through the use of acrylic paint and pouring medium. Each piece created will be unique and original. No two pours are ever the same! This class includes two complete paintings ready to hang on your wall (frames not included). We will work on flip cup and open cup techniques that are fun for every level. Wear clothes you can get paint on. All supplies are included in the class fee. No previous painting experience or drawing skills required.

This Basic Life Support (BLS) training is a certificate-bearing course that trains participants to recognize and respond to life threatening emergencies, such as cardiac arrest and choking, by utilizing techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the automated external defibrillator (AED) device. Your certification will be valid for two years. Registration includes a pocket mask and the potential for an electronic BLS certification card.

The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program from the American Safety and Health Institute provides everything you need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The YouTube “vlogger” style presentation of the video brings a youthful and high-energy spirit to the program content, and the colorful magazine format of the student book makes learning fun. From getting started with your business, to working with parents and children, to key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips, CABS will help set you up for babysitting success. Students must be present for the entire class and complete achievement of the core learning objectives to receive certification valid for two years.
