  • Hy Vee Simple Fix: Instant Pot Pressure Cooker Workshop

     We still have openings in the February 11th class!!Prepare Yourself. You’ve never seen home cooking made so easy. The Hy-Vee Simple Fix™ program helps make meal preparation fun, fresh and affordable. What can you expect from us? Set up – All your groceries will be shopped and ready to go. Prep - All you need to do is cut up a few ingredients, open a few cans, assemble and dish up the entrees into serving/freezer-ready zip-lock bags which will be provided. Clean up – Leave the clean-up to us. Hints, tips, tricks and assistance as it relates to the Instant Pot, meal preparation and improving the nutrition quality of your meals! We do try to maximize the health of each meal with fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean meats. You will also receive an electronic recipe collection of at least 30 tried and true Instant Pot recipes. What you need to do? PRE-REGISTER now ( one week prior is the deadline)! The payment for class covers the cost of groceries and supplies needed for the recipes. Each recipe serves at least 4-6 people.      If the super market aisle of olive oil selections overwhelms you and you're not sure which brand to choose- this class is for you! Nancy will explore and debunk olive oil myths, teach and identify the elements of flavor and storage, and clarify how to read the labels and identify freshness. You will be able to taste different oils from a variety of regions and explore the elements of flavor in each. Using quality olive oil will help you create many more interesting flavors in everyday foods.
