Take a walk around the beautiful grounds of the former Minnesota State Public School (Orphanage) and Owatonna State School. Hear stories about what the grounds looked like and what took place there. Over 10,000 children lived there over the course of the years 1885-1945. Don't miss your chance to hear this incredible piece of Owatonna history!Please wear comfortable shoes. The tour will be led by Orphanage Museum Director, Anne Peterson, and local historian, Nancy Vaillancourt.

However, preschool contracts for current ECFE, Little Learners, and Bright Beginnings families, as well as district employees, will be prioritized and processed during the week of January 21-27. A secondhand Shopping Adventure! Join us for a fun-filled Thrift Shop Hop - a motorcoach bus trip designed for bargain hunters, vintage lovers, and treasure seekers! We'll visit a curated selection of the best thrift stores, consignment shops, and hidden gem boutiques in the area. Tonna Trailblazers Rock Climbing Club (Entering Grades 6-9)

Have you ever wanted to learn how to traverse, climb, belay and more? Join the Tonna Trailblazers Rock Climbing Club! All students will need to sign a waiver, even if they have previously signed one for a PE class. A liability waiver will need to be signed and returned to Roosevelt Community School before class starts or brought to the first day of class in order for participation. We'll go exploring for these creatures in the great outdoors and around the classroom. Children are encouraged to come in costume. Unleash your creativity and become a content creator. Learn the art of producing video shorts for Tik Tok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels. Edit the video, add motion graphics and special effects to your own video short, while practicing storytelling and film production techniques. Explore the art behind creating compelling short videos that resonate with audiences. Bring a USB drive (at least 8 GB), lunch and a drink.

Looking to find balance in your body and mind? In Vinyasa Yoga you will find energy, calm the mind, build strength and improve flexibility! You will experience linking a constant flow of poses using the breath. During class you can expect to start close to the earth grounding your mind and body, flow up to hands and knees, make your way to your feet for standing poses, and end with a cool down and savasana. All levels are welcome, previous knowledge of yoga poses is helpful but not required.

Confusion abounds about vitamin supplements. Do you need them? Which ones are best? How do you choose? In this workshop, you will learn the 7 guidelines that determine if a supplement is well balanced or a waste of money. Your instructor does not sell any supplements but we'll discuss what current research says about antioxidants, phytochemicals, anti-aging nutrients, colloidal minerals, chelated minerals, sustained release formulas, as well as collagen, glucosamine chondroitin, melatonin, and echinacea.
